The Friends of Wetzel State Park

sponsored a field trip on the

13th of May 2008 for Briarwood School and the

16th for Warren Woods Christian School.

Over 70 students from Briarwood Schools 4th & 5th grades were guests
of The Friends of Wetzel State Park for a field trip.
The students arrived on two busses at 10:00 AM sharp.
Approximately half were bussed to the North Trail and half took to the South Trail
for the morning hike. Lunch was at 11:30 AM after which they switched trails
for the afternoon hike. At 2:00 PM the last student was on the bus and away
they went all smiles.

On the 16th over 30 students from Warren Woods Christian School arrived
at the north trail for there field trip. They arrived at the RCCD Flying Field at
noon for lunch. About 1:00 they left fore home. Both days were a big success
and we are looking forward to more more field trips in the future.
